2012 OAMPS Tasmanian Schools Regatta and Youth Championships
Fifty five boats, from schools around Tasmania met at Sandy Bay Sailing Club over the weekend of 14th and 15th April to compete in the annual Schools Regatta and Youth Championships sponsored by OAMPS Insurance Brokers. Great autumn weather and near perfect sailing conditions over the weekend created an exciting event with the overall Team Trophy being presented to The Friends School.
Highest Ranked Schoolboy went to 420 "VMG" sailed by Alec Bailey and Nelson Brown.
Highest Ranked Schoolgirl went to Laser 4.7 "Audrey" sailed by Anna Vaughan.
