Member Protection Policy
Working With Children
Yachting Tasmania has worked with The Department of Justice to develop the below Sector Guide outlining which yacht club personnel should undertake Working With Children Checks in response to the implementation of The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 (the Act) which requires people who work closely with children in certain activities to be registered.
The cost for the Working with Children Check (the Check) will be $17.76 for volunteers.

Pacer Hire Policy
Yachting Tasmania owns and maintains a fleet of 6 pacer-style dinghies. These can be hired by clubs and schools groups for racing or training events. The schedule of fees and the policy for care of the boats can be found below.
